It’s summertime hot of 113 in sunny Arizona which makes for pool time family fun, but cranky stay at home kids when not kept busy! For me it means one week of my kiddos, Devon 8 and Oliver 5, in camp and one week of juggling work while they are home.
It is too easy for me AND them to get “medicated with media ” via iPad or online car racing games until now! I came up with as solution that was fun AND simple to follow while keeping fresh on our reading and math skills.

This bingo chart has magical powers folks…I AM SERIOUSLY NOT FOOLING AROUND! Phil and I discussed some of the themes for each box, printed a copy off for each child and posted it on our Schoolhouse board in my kitchen where the family sees it each day. The next morning the kids got up early and we’re hooked like Velcro to their charts with books in hand, flash cards out and fired up doing online math. Phil and I are are like “holy guacamole this bingo chart rocks!”
