Hello Organizing Gurus!!!
The New Year brings a new order and a fresh mindset toward living an intentional Organized Lifestyle. I am jumping up and down excited about a recent podcast I did with ever so gifted Marc Lucas from The Form Show Podcast, discussing why order matters. In addition, I answered the most commonly asked questions to overcome it and conquer clutter for good!
Marc Lucas is currently the Local Ministry Director at Faith Talk 1360, so I was beyond honored to be his guest on his The Form Show. Marc brings a wealth of knowledge having served as a pastor for a combined 15 years with two mega-churches in the Valley: Sun Valley Community Church and Highlands Church and devoted husband and father.
Why Order Matters
The episode is about “Why We Should Live a Healthy, Organized Life and How We Can Do It.” During my interview with Marc, we dug deep into the concept of Matters of the Heart, Matters of the Mind, and Matters of the Hands.
I’ll touch on them very quickly here, but please be sure to have a listen to the podcast for more juicy nuggets of organizing wisdom!
Matters of the Heart
The most important part of finding order is to discover your why. Defining why you want to declutter your life helps lay the foundation for truly fulfilling your organizational goals and vision for each space.
Matters of the Mind
After you have determined you’re why…you must then move into master decision-making mode. Mainly this step consists of making decisions on what to keep and what not to keep, the role of stewardship, and the purpose of the items in your life.
Matters of the Hands
Once you’ve developed your plan, the next step is to actually do the work to transform your space and transition into your new organizing systems.
I know you will #IgniteTheOrganizerinYou as I shared my solutions to the TOP most commonly asked questions by clients + readers and ways to overcome them all with CONFIDENCE !
Here’s to bringing Organizing Order into your life TODAY!
