Hellloooo my Lovely, Organizing Gurus!
I’m super excited because I have a HUGE announcement to make
Joining me today are 2 very special guests to share it with YOU…my sons, Devon & Oliver!
Devon, is currently in 8th grade and on his way to be a high-school freshman next year. Oliver is wrapping up 5th grade and ready for an amazing 6th-grade year! Together, we wanted to share some AMAZING NEWS…. drum roll please! After several years of working on my book series, Ignite The Organizer In You, I have completed the companion book in the series…Ignite The Organizer In Your Child – designed for parents + school-aged kids.
During my 13-years of being a professional organizer, some of the most asked organizing questions I get are from PARENTS!
- “How can you teach my kids to maintain a tidy room or get ready on time?”
- “What do I need to know so they are more involved in helping out at home?”
Can you relate? The list of questions goes on and on and on! In the new book, I am sharing my TOP kid-focused organizing tricks, concepts, and systems for raising confident children & establishing a well-organized household.
So I put it ALL into this one super easy, very simple to read, and very humorous guide. It covers EVERYTHING over my 14 years of being a mom, raising a family & building my business as a professional organizer. I SHARE-IT-ALL with you, the challenges I had in raising two very different kids and the solutions designed to solve it all.
All of my best-of-the-best secrets, PLUS, tried-&-true expertise backed by years of experience,
hand-delivered to YOU!
My kids have been impacted over the years of what an efficient & organized lifestyle can mean. But it has helped them in so many OTHER ways over the years as well. So I wanted to give you a little SNEAK-PEEK into how my sons have developed & applied some of the methods from the book into their own lives.
Check out our mini-interview below!
Danielle: “How has organizing impacted you and your life?”
Ollie : “Organizing has impacted my life because I am very creative and can get distracted very easily throughout the day. These organizing tips and tricks have helped me stay on track, not get as distracted and helps me be more efficient during school. I also found that the Routine Chart from the book has been very helpful to me. I have a routine chart in the bathroom that lists all the things I have to do to get ready in the morning, it helps me stay on task to finish them.”
Danielle: “How has organizing helped you?”
Devon: “I’m very analytical so I like to be very efficient, so these lessons my mom has taught me have helped me stay efficient. In the morning, I know exactly where everything is, and that has helped save me time. This allows me more time to get focused on my homework and be ready for school!”
*When Devon was younger, one of the things we struggled with was that he wanted to do things one way and I (of course) wanted them done another way ( sound familiar to anyone?). So we developed the R.O.C.K. Discipline Method. This is just one of the many methods discussed in the book on how you can help your child make decisions & have the emotional self-control required to achieve an organized life at an early age!
